Andrea is a highly experienced occupational therapist with a distinguished career spanning over four decades. She holds a Doctor of Occupational Therapy from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions and earned her Bachelor of Occupational Therapy from both Emory University and Tufts University.
With a passion for lymphedema care that dates back to 1996, Andrea has dedicated herself to advancing her expertise in this field. She is a Certified Lymphedema Therapist accredited by the Lymphology Association of North America (LANA) and a Certified Casley-Smith Instructor certified by Casley-Smith International. Her commitment to excellence led her to obtain specialized training in the Casley-Smith International Lymphoedema treatment method in 2000.
Throughout her career, Andrea has worked across various healthcare settings, including acute care hospitals, rehabilitation hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, home health, and outpatient settings in Arizona. Recognizing the need for heightened awareness and education surrounding lymphedema, Andrea embarked on a mission in 2010 to advocate for better understanding and management of this condition.
In 2012, Andrea furthered her education by completing a post-professional clinical doctorate in occupational therapy, focusing on health services administration and the development of lymphedema management programs. Her dedication to patient care and professional development underscores her commitment to providing exceptional service to her clients at Pink Ribbon Lymphatic Massage.
